2015/2016 PTA Teacher Grants Awarded

The Hooksett PTA allocates $2,000 annually for Teacher Grants. Twice a year, Teachers may submit their requests with a brief summary of the items or service they would like, the benefit to the children, and the cost.   

We are pleased to announce this year’s recipients:

Mrs. Poisson received $71.88
 for the purchase primary color interlocking foam mats for her classroom

Mrs. Ux & the Grade 3 Team  received $369.60
 for the purchase of 168 phonics phones to aid in the students fluency and reading skills

Mrs. Githmark received $168.50 

for the purchase of 25 copies of “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind,” a novel that ties the 

children’s science and language arts units together.

Mrs. White & Art Department received $400.00
 for the purchase of 4 chrome wire wheeled shelving units to store and organize the art rooms
at both Underhill and Memorial Schools

Mrs. Cepek received $219.80
for the purchase of 5 Franklin Merriam-Webster electronic intermediate dictionaries and spell checkers
